Recommissioning of the large production facility for
Solvent-Based Inks is imminent!
Dear customers,
Since the fire in our Solvent-Based Ink production facility on 6th August last year 10 months have passed and the re-commissioning of the new production hall for Solvent-Based inks is imminent.
Most technical equipment and machinery have been installed. There are a few units still to arrive but nevertheless, we are right on schedule. We expect to commission and start up the plant in late summer and that we will be fully operational with our complete delivery capacities by the autumn.
We can now look back on a challenging time and assure ourselves that the last 10 months have not been lost! In this crisis the Doneck Network team has moved even closer together and many of us have grown in our duties and stepped up to the challenges presented.
Although safety has always been a key focus for us a devastating fire nevertheless broke out in our plant. Today we see things in a different light and with the realization that such an event can affect anyone. In an effort to ensure that such an event will never happen again we have revised and reworked our safety concept. In addition to the optimization of passive fire protection and extinguishing systems, we have also trained many of our employees to become an in-house fire brigade.
Since the beginning of this year the Doneck Network has been capable of manufacturing Solvent-Based Inks with our own production capabilities: the processing and delivery of orders has run very smoothly.
We are very grateful for the outstanding support received from our customers and employees, as well as all partner and other companies who have helped us over many months during this emergency situation!
We are particularly pleased to be able to announce that our valued employee who was severely injured in the fire will be reintegrated to the team in the very near future!
